They say when you get lemons, make lemonade. Well we got no parade so we made one ourselves!! No marching bands and other things but plenty of good old Republicans trying to give a tribute to those who should be remembered. Waving our flag and getting quite a few honks.


Here's my crew for the day. Driver, Steve Bernal; holding regular flag, Matt Chapman and Damius Bernal holding the US/Army flag that I gave to my pastor for his service during the Vietnam War.

Turning back after 1 lap for a second.


When we were done we congregated at the Outdoor theatre at 88th and Rosemary. The response we got saluting those that served was very well received by the cars during our venture. Once again a salute to those we remember. Tony
